Can anyone tell me of a good reliable battery[brand name]. Have been useing a duralast for the past few years but they don't seem to hold up too good over at least one season. I have a good charger so I don't think that is the problem. I would think that I could get at least 2 years out of a battery that you spend so much money on.
I have been using the "Maxx" batteries from WalMart and have had very good service out of them. They have an 18 month free replacement on them.....And WalMart is close to all lakes if you needed to change it out!!!
I Love having A Crappie Day:D
if you get the "gold" ( i thinks it called.) at autozone, they have a 5 year replacement on them.
Just had to replace my Delco Voyager it was 11 years old.So I bought another one and maybe it will be as good. Price was $72.95 Plus tax.
I've used the big everstart MAXX from walmart since I started crappie fishing 4 yrs ago and I need to buy my 4th one now but I'm gonna go with a different brand. For the money they work great but with the way I've used them, I haven't gotten more than 2 years out of them. Comes with a 18 month replacement and 3 have went bad between 18-24 months.
I have 2 of them in my tracker and have averaged fishing around 25-30 times a year.
I use Interstate from my repair shop. Used walmart and others, but I feel that the deep cycle Interstate last longer.
