    Default Back Home Again

I got back home this afternoon after another good weekend at The "T"...Caught a lot of good fish Thurs-Sunday. I had some motor problems on Friday that forced me to use a friends boat that wasn't exactly set up for the way we fish, but at least we were on the water. Kinda like wearing a shoe that does not fit...We caught a slew of fish on Saturday but just could not get that 1 or 2 kicker fish we needed. Only weighed in 10.48 lbs, but that's not bad considering what we had to work with.On Friday we had several big fish, but couldn't get one on Saturday. Tim kicked my butt all week on the big fish, but we had a blast catching some good fish. Was good to see Rawhide, CrappieLuck and his wife there along with the SlabMaster Trio. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Here are a couple of pics.

Thx...If we could have had the fish Saturday that we caught Friday, we would have given your boy Jason a run for the money...But we couldn't get the bigguns to cooperate Saturday...But Polk Creek was pretty good to us again. Just hang on to that rod or you can put it on my front porch...May be a week or 2 before I get back down...I had to bring my boat home. Gotta get the motor running.

We got home late this afternoon as well. We had a good time this weekend at Talquin. Like TNT, Friday was a better day for us as far as the size of the fish. We just couldn't seem to get on the big ones Saturday. It was good to see you all again and as always Jamie and Pam cooked up some good groceries for us Saturday night. Fishing, Fun and Good Food... It don't get no better than that.

Teach a man to fish, he'll be in your fishing hole everytime you go.

TnT......From all the reports I'm hearing, the big fish just seemed to bite better on Friday even for the top teams. I heard one team had close to 14 lbs. out of 7 fish on Friday!!

Guess that's why they make us all fish on the same day....I would have told you that 13 pounds wouldn't have even gotten a check the way fish was the week before the tournament but things change.
