    Default Lake Varner?

Has anyone here ever heard of Lake Varner? I think it is a small lake that is located somewhere in north Georgia. Got a friend that said he ahs heard that the crappie are biting really good there. Any information is appreciated.

It's a trolling motor only lake.. no gas motor allowed on the boat. Leaves most of us out

Check GON and look for other articles on this lake. I think it is south Atl? Really good bass fishing but like Crip47 said....elec only....no gas motors on the boat at all! Couple other lakes in GA like that and gives some folks a place to fish that don't like the boat traffic. I think Macon Water Authority has one too. Could be a place to hunt a trophy?
