Thread: Big Fish Pictures

Caught this in a pond in Martinez, GA, there was actually two of them. One was 4ft long and the other was 3 ft long. Yes the are grass carp and were very stinky, I released them quickly after landing them. The funny thing was, I was using a 5' shakesphere ultralight with 6pd testline, I stripped the gears out of the real on the second one and had to pull it in with my fingers, but it gets better, I had my wife go down in the water with a net to grap and and when she netted it it ran through the net and put a hole in it, I had to take my reel and run it through the net and continue to fight it. I know it sounds crazy but it really happened! It was alot of fun. They sure are ugly fish and stink real bad, I heard they get up to about 6ft long!

whatd you catch the bill on? ive heard of money trees, but money fish? i need to go with you one day. well look for the twenty spot.

Caught from the bank 1.7 lbs

My 12 year old son had the biggest catch of a week long Spring Break fishing trip. A 230 lb. "BIG MOUTH". It took a trip to the hospital to get 2 hooks of a #2 treble buried to the shank out of my neck.
