I would like to Thank all of you for the great time my partner,* Dylaninmoorecrappie (who is my illigetimate adopted twin brother on my sisters side), and I had he drove 8 hours from Southwest Florida (Fort Meyers) to fish with you guys. This was his third time fishing for crappie and his only tournament. He told me no less than 20 time how much fun he had and he can't wait until the next time so he can come back. He was impressed at how this was almost like a family reunion.Thanks Again guys

How we Fished Balckshear Slabfest

We started at Smoak Bridge long line trolling with 1/24oz. Tom's Crappie Jigs in blue lime blue & black bubble gum chartruese. The fish were on top, we pulled our jigs about 2' deep early then the fish scattered out when the boat traffic got heavy. We pulled from the bridge to about 1/2 way to the RR Track, as the clouds moved out the fish moved down and we switched to 1/16oz. bubble gum jigs we concentrated on small humps along the creek channel. We kept 47 Fish.
