    Default Talquin Weekend

Got there Sat at daylight and caught 4 fish in about 15 min. in Harvey creek. Thought I was on to something but the later in the morning it got the slower the bite was. Sun. morning I went down to Boy scout and did about the same as I did sat. 18 keepers sat and 16 sun. Atleast I caught enough to get the grease hot.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.:D

Glad you had a good trip. Looks like those fish are still doing the same thing they were the weekend before too. Has the water settled down or is it still muddy and trashy?

I was there Sat-Sun also, and didnt do much on Sat. I had 6 fish Saturday and caught them right before dark. Sunday morning I woke extremely early to pack up and check out of my cabin before the sunrise. Fished from sunrise until 1pm and caught 16 good ones. Was my first time on the lake but deff. not my last. I have been trying to find a good crappie fishery like some of the ones I left behind in Mississippi and it looks promising now.

Fine mess of talquin pigs there man. Anyone that has fished talquin very much knows there are plenty of days down there where they would have loved to caught what you've got right there.
