    Default Clark's Hill Slab

Managed to catch this girl at the "HILL" this weekend and just had to share it. Not sure if the pictures even begin to tell the story. She weighed 3 lbs 6 ozs on my hand held scales. I'll probably never catch another one, but at least I can say that I caught one 3 lber. DI......ask AJ or Deputy Dog about it. They were on each side us when I caught her.

    Default Very nice

That is a real nice slab. Were you long line trolling? I am going to the hill Thursday and Friday and have not been there before. Any tips?

DEG.....Yes, we were long line trolling. The water temps. are still 49 to 53 degrees. The bigger fish are in 15 to 20 foot of water close to good size shallow flats toward the back of the creeks. They're just hanging out until the temps and moon get right. Any of the major creeks should be good. Just look for 10 or 12 boats trolling in an area and there should be some fish close by.

I hope that one is on the way to the taxidermist. That is one awesome fish. I can only dream to catch one like that.
