Default a good day turned bad

today i go to tuna for the 3rd day in a row. i have been killing them chaching
25 to 40 a day with about half over 10 inches. and this morning even tho the wind was bad i start the bad off with a big one 2.1 lb.
but heres where it turns for the next 2 hours i nail like 15 and then my battery dies. yep i forgot to charge it last night. hey i can live with that
then about noon i have to head home im running in 25 foot of water and at full speed i hit something. still dont even know what i tryed to find it all i can guess is a floating tree coming down river. i hit so hard i slam into the steering wheel and it brakes my transom.
yea that one hurts.most likely im done geting to go fishing this year in a boat anyways.
i get home and theres a prob with my site that they was sapost to have fixed last week and now saying might be up this week and then again might not 0.o
i think im going to bed now in hopes that work tomro is better then today ended up

One heck of a day. Could be worse, boat could be on the bottom of lake.

    Default Sorry

Hey gabulldog, wow I am so sorry to hear about your day. If you want to PM me I have a pontoon on Allatoona and will gladly take you out when and if we can get together. I have not fished the lake much but my toon is rigged pretty good for crappie fishing. I have it docked across from the Blockhouse. Drop me a line.

sorry to see you had such a terrible run of luck. I know that feeling in the pit of your stomach when your means of crappie fishing is out of order. if the motor is ok a boat is easy to find. Keep your head up and you will be on the water again soon

GAbulldog drop me a pm I fish the the north end too. Mabe we can hook up also.

What part of the lake were you fishing when this happened? I haven't seen anything floating this spring, unlike last year. After this storm system rolls through Tuesday anything might come floating down the river.
