    Default Blackshear Slabfest

I REALLY had a great time at Blackshear this weekend. I got to spend a little more time at this one than I did at Talquin. I also got to meet some new faces at this one that wasnt at Talquin, and this was a thrill! Its still hard for me to call people by their name after I meet them, I still call them their screen name. I just wanted to thank everyone that was involved in making this even possible. I have looked forward this past two months for slabfest, and was soooo excitied when it finally got here. This is a great bunch of guys who are willing to share information and make sure everyone has a good time. These slabfest events are something special, and I hope they can continue to bring people together for fun and fellowship. Thanks again to everyone, and thanks to the people who headed slabfest up. I consider you all my friends!

Trick didn't work out....but will real soon. Water temps jumped about 4 degrees and if the weather will hold the temps or bump them a little more it will be time. I also tried a creek I had forgot all about while headed south and ended up with some small ones. I noticed a lot of boats in the mouth of Collins. Must have been a few fish in there? Good to see you again Slayer and Jim. Hope to see you on the water again soon.
