Thread: allatoona

Anyone been catching any on the "toona" lately. Went yesterday and today trolling about could only catch a couple, and a BUNCH of little spots. I can't figure out where they are right now for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey Rspringer, I was drivig home from slabfest today and made through Atlanta in record time, no traffic! So what else stopped by tooney. trolled the river bend outside of sixes creek keep the the boat in 10 ft of water caught 15 in about hour and half. thats the deepest water on this end of the lake.

went saturday afternoon and sunday at kellog creek. caught a couple on saturday and nothing sunday. don't have a trolling motor but used the wind and drifted through several areas that were lit up on the fish finder. had 4 - 6 poles out with all kinds of different jigs and could get nothing to bite on sunday. it did not seem that anyone was catching much at kellog on sunday afternoon but there were some guys leaving from the morning that seemed to have had some success.

still trying to figure this stuff out because sunday seemed to be even better than saturday? water temps on saturday were 48 - 50 and sunday afternoon they were holding at 52. the fish seemed to be at the mouth of the creek on the bigger water at about 18 - 25 ft but they sure were not hungry?
