Thread: little help

Any one fished oconee today. my buddy is taking me in the morning

I was on the lake today but there wasn't a lot of fishing going on. One of the roughest days I've had on oconee in the last few years. Water temp was 48 degrees @ 6:30 this morning in lick creek. Fished lick creek and a couple other coves around there and marked fish in the mouths of all the coves but they were down deeeeeep. 2-3 feet off the bottom in 20-25 ft of water. Caught a few before 11am and then I took out and headed up to blue springs marina. Fished up there from 12:30 - 4 and saw 4 fish get caught by 15 boats. Again, fish were right in the channel and deep.

Water was lightly stained down around lick creek and med-heavy stained up at blue springs.

I'd love to talk to someone that caught fish on oconee today b/c I was definately doing something wrong!

we are suppose to head over to bluesprings in the morning maybe well have better luck tomorrow morning ill post back
