Thread: weiss update

Got on the lake around 7:30 and fished until 1:30. Caught around 85 and brought home 63. Trolled 1/16 southern pro hotgrubs. Black,blue and chart and that wildcat grub was the color today. Also snagged the biggest one on a yellow microspoon doubled rigged.caught a few more that way also. Water was 46 degrees ,stained and fish were about 10 foot in 14 feet of water and full of eggs. Fished a cove off the main river channel. Guess I will go back again with my son on the 18th.
This fishing and catching fish thing sure is tuff

good to see some reports from you guys that can catch em.
you were 100 miles north of me with 46 degree water.
The shallowest I caught a crappie was 29' in 38' water. Most came right off the bottom in 40' water. Water temp was 53-55!
