I am fairly new to the site, been lurking for about a year now. I finally caught a real slab and had to post it to brag about. The date was January 12 and I was fishing Kellogg Creek trolling jigs. The good thing is this big slab is still alive. I released her into our small lake that we have in our subdivision. So hopefully she can pass on the genes.
Thanks:D :D
Allright Daveaf, that's a nice one there bud, feels good to catch one like that.

I'm jealous!
To heck with work, lets go fishing.
great slab man. People call that lake the dead sea but it is full of crappie.. everyone is chasing those big stripers..great to see a report from there..

How anyone can lurk around this site for that long is beyond me. I was hooked after my first visit. Great fish Dave keep them coming.
Birddog,
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
