Thread: Lake Blackshear Report 2-07-08

Don't want to bust anybodys bubble but went out today for a couple of hours and did ZILCH! I marked alot of fish but nothiong would bite. Saw 4 other boats and they ahd the same luck I did. Water is heavy stain almost to the point of being muddy. Talked to the people at the damn and they are running 3 generators wide open all day today and tommorow. Weather is beautiful but the crappie are not biting.

Hate it that the skunk was out today,Gusty....Hope it is better at Talquin this weekend.

same luck i had at blackshear the other day lol , thats why they call it fishin huh ?
my trailer broke my boat , the keel cracked where it was sittin on the front roller on the trailer , so the boat is upside down in my shop waitin for some paint for the bottom . i fixed the keel but figgered i may as well paint its bottom while i am at it . the trailer has no more rollers , it only has bunks now so it wont happen again .
as soon as i gits it done i am going back to blackshear anfd try em again .

well a day like today is pretty but the fishing always sucks after a front when this high pressure moves over us. We all know this but we go anyway..but today is a pretty day to fish just not catch lol

ya know what i have a few hours free till darkk...see yall when i get off the water...lol purdee day ain't it!
