    Default Long Line Questions

    At what cold water temp do Y'all stop Long lining? When do You start back? Water temps in N.E. North Carolina running in upper 40's to 50 degrees. Is that too cold? Also, Do any of you fellas troll road runners? Thanks Guys. CF

    Those temps are border line but should be O.K.. I only troll road runners when I want to get deep, 15' with four pound line.

    water is same temp at Lanier also. Trolling Roadrunners??? Used one the other day just casting. It wanted to track at an angle. Why???

    Just wondering if they work good with the blade trolling and all. I fish tea stained water and figure they might work better at times. I got some with willow leaf blades that track true. CF

    wonder if I should just toss mine and get the willow leaf ones. My blades are the small sort of round ones

    I figure the willow leaf blades will work good because you don't have to go as fast to get the blade to turn so it should run truer. You can get a little deeper like that too. Got me curious now and now I want to go bad!!!!CF
