Anything out of the N or S in any combination will be tough if over 5 mph. B'shear runs pretty much N & S and is narrow compared to other lakes. The only things blocking N & S are the RR & Hwy280 bridges. I pretty much fish the east side of the lake and prefer any wind combination out of the east even though east winds are usually the worst for fishing "supposedly". If you are gonna fish the North end then you can usually find a bend or two out of any wind. Boat traffic is just as bad when it warms up. The waves aren't able to settle out because of the lake being narrow. Think about a bathtub.
