Thread: sincair or oconee

looking into going to sinclair or oconee this weekend where yall think i should go

i think youll do well either lake.maybe more numbers on sinclair,size on oconee. good luck either way and let us know how you do

I agree with Manta1.Size was very good at Oconee last time we fished there but better numbers at Sinclair.

I fished Oconee last weekend and did pretty good in deep water 48-50, but I started shallow looking for fish and what put me deep was the bait fish balls. Get in the creek channels and look for the bait fish hodling just off bottom and the crappie are laying under them eating the winter shad die off, like hogs in a trough. I used a drop shot with minnow and bumped bottom and move it along slowly. Oconee water is cold and bite is very light, you'll notice line is heavy and sometimes a little tick.
