Thread: problems with my eagle 320/on Laneir

Took the boat out today on laneir. Charleston park had a line at the ramp. have not been out in it since Nov. Nothing has changed except a new cranking battery. Fished a few stickups and one dock. Water was 49 in the back of 6 mile creek. Nothing......Did not really think so anyway. Had the wife with me and it was the trial run to make sure everything worked. boat ran like a top.......

Except my front depth finder on the trolling motor. Depth would flash 0 or sometimes another number and I never saw the bottom. Depth would always flash. It would lock in sometimes but then start to flash. One time I was in 20 feet and it did say 20 but started to flash. Pulled the trollingmotor back up and it still flashed 20 feet. Turned it off and on and it read 0. Like I said,,,nothing has changed with the setup from last year. Anybody have any ideas?????

next year just run the boat all year. lol when ever you set anything up for awhile it always has quirks when ya go to use it

I have the same unit on trolling motor also no problems.Give them a call at the 800 number,tell them the problem,they are great at giving info for fixing problem over phone.Stand by your boat with unit on they may have fix while you wait.EAGLE SONAR.

You might try reseting the factory setting.

Sounds to me like you're having problems with your transducer. I'm having problems with my Eagle Fish elite 480 and I called Eagle. They're repairing it for free I just have to pay shipping one way.

had the same problem with my first eagle..got a humminbird to replace it.

Guys, I tried reseting it. It did not help,,,Wes,,, your probabley right. Will call Eagle on Thursday. Got to run over to MS tomarrow for work.
Smitty,,,,,plan on a humminbird after the big fat tax return. But still need one up front on the trolling motor. The 797 SI goes next to the steering wheel when I get that.

its like fate, you wanted a new one now ya gotta get one. you sure you didnt cut the wires then take the wife out and say look honey it dont work, I need another one. lol
