Thread: Good Days and Bad Days

Trolling this past week was not good. Saturday afternoon at Sinclair my Grandson & I had 25 +/- but they were small. Monday at Oconee was worse. I fished by myself & caught 3 crappie. Two fishermen in another boat that fished along with me had two. They must of had a Super bowl hangover.

I'm wonderin what you're gripeing about,you caught 3 more'n I did..and you weren't at home honey-doin,,,man,what'cha want,,,egg in your beer,,,ss

Maybe they'll turn on this week. Going to try Oconee this weekend if the weather holds out. Will be the first time out this year and if history repeats itself, I'll spend most of the day getting the kinks out:D

Will do!! I normally fish up towards the upper end of the lake. Scuttlebut has it that there catching a few in Towns Creek on the Oconee river side as of last weekend. I camp there at Blue Springs Marina and fish out of a 22' Sea Pro center console so if you ever see me, give me a holler. FYI- Blue Springs won't have any minnows till March the way things looks so don't depend on getting any from there any time soon. I get mine at Greshamville Mall or the Corner Quick Stop just past the marina. Hope that helps.
