Thread: made it to blackshear

went to the lake this mornin and found bait right where rusty said to , found the first boat ramp in the vet park and the visitor center has lake maps that are pretty good . got on the water and found collins branch just as rusty said i would , and wouldnt ya know it his cousin was sittin there fishin ( nope i dont rem his name lol ) .
fished a good bit and got no bites , rode a bit and checked out the lake . i like the place and will be back , my brother ( he was with me ) will probably take his camper over and stay a few days soon

Glad you made it over to the lake...Dont let the way the way they didnt bite discourage you...It can be a tough lake to fish at times, but they are there...

Wow, it must be one of those cousins I don't know about. You know, one of them redneck cousins. No really if it is the one I am thinking about his name was John Crow or "Sonny" as alot of us call him.

glad you checked it out and liked it. not much in big water over your way, but worth the drive once you find your way around and find spots you like. the bite will get better real soon.
