    Default Lake Blackshear Bream Report

Hello once again Crappie.com family. Didn't really feel like going out fishing this morning but decided to go anyhow. I woke my dad up and asked him to go and in just a few minutes we wwere on our way. We had been out for over an hour fishing and didn't have but one bream in the boat. It was very discourageing and we almost loaded up and come home. Before loading up I decided to try one more spot and I am glad that I did. We ended up catching and keeping 31 very large bluegill bream. We cought them mainly on crickets but did catch a few on worms. IT SURE WAS FUN.
    GOD bless you all.

The night tourney is at blackshear in September!

fishing pressure on popular dock lights could be some of it. Blackshear is a great lake and I believe it has some heavy slabs in it. Try fishing a spot where one of the major creeks north or south of the bridge meets the river channel. Get on the point where it drops into the channel. Anchor and drop a q-beam. Give em an hour or so and you might just catch a few. That would be what I'd do if I was there tonight.

    just keep fishin.. Good luck!
