Default Off topic!....Vick. I am ashamed to be his fan.

From Page 13: “In or about March of 2003, Vick retrieved a book bag from a vehicle containing approximately $23,000 in cash. The cash was provided to [cooperating witness] #2 as payment for winning both dog fight matches.”

On Jan. 4, 2003, Vick had led the Falcons to a playoff victory over Green Bay at storied Lambeau Field.

From Page 14: “In or about the fall of 2003, [the three other defendants] and Vick traveled from Atlanta, Ga., to South Carolina with a male pit bull named Magic to participate in a dog fight. … The purse of the dog fight was established at approximately $1,500 per
Yall know how much of a Falcon Fan I am. I just don't see how or why multi millionaires can be so stupid. If and I do say if Vick is convicted of really doing these things. I grew up and live in a region that has roosters and pit bulls all over the place. They are raised to fight. I have never seen an intentional dog or chicken fight nor have I attended an organized event, but I know people that do. I've known some all my life and have been invited to such events. I never really thought about it much but it is a disgracful thing to do with an animal. (Don't go in the Donkey show) The Falcons are in a mess right now. I'm just a fan and I don't know if I should support him or if I want him removed NOW.

So this thread has a bit of fishing in it.
I just returned from the lake. The bite was steady until midnight. They just cut off. I headed up river into the dark of the north end of the lake. no moon and no house lights. I was just looking around. not much shad in the river above the big sandbar so I'd think I'll stay down in the main lake. I guess the deeper water has more oxygen but moving water does too. I kept 20 but none were to brag about. I hit a few new docklights on the way in and picked up the last 3. the rest were caught before midnight.

You dont have to worry about the great Vick. He will get off totally free, even if the evidence is overwhelming to convict him. He's a big football hero! It will be another O.J. Simpson fiasco and I guarantee you that within 2 days his lawyers are going to be crying "racism".
No fan of Michael Vick here. On the field or off.

Respectfully, where did that info come from?
Never did like "Im fabulous, look at me", Vick.
Was a football fan of the Falcons at one time but that was before Vick .........Im a fan of a differant team now, besides I never cared for Mr Orange Apron and his attitude, concerning Saint Vick.
Hey, my wife and daughter still root for the Falcon's ,so 2 out of 3 aint bad.

Im still a liketime falcon fan going back to the Tommy Nobis days...Just wish there was a signing cap for these young college kids coming into the pro's..Amazing what a few extra dollars do to an individual..Seems these kids nowadays coming out of college doesnt appreciate the value of a hard work for a good paycheck...Thinks the NFL officials should suspend him and take away all his pay..Can see him going to jail for 6 months and still making millions of dollars for sitting in Jail..Who knows with his money he will probably get off scott free...

How about Clinton Portis and the other guy on TV defending Vick and dog fighting to a national TV audience a few weeks ago. Funny how the very next day they recanted their statements and said they were totally against the fighting of dogs. Their original statements were that who cares if Vick was fighting dogs , it's just dogs. I never cared for Vick or any of the other guys like him (show boat , big gold chain wearing , etc.) but this is on another level entirely. I know he has a lot of fans , but I really dont understand that either. I guess they payed him the $130 million so that people would come to the games and buy jerseys , cause it sure aint because of his performance....:D
