Thread: Follow up from yesterday

Good morning to all. Had my first follow up appointment since my surgery. Doctor said everything is going well.Im ahead of schedule but this recovery is very slow. I must say this forum gives me alot of satisfaction and occupy's my spare time. Astro advised me to get well as we have a crappie tournament in October to attend..Hmmmmmmmmmm wonder what he is telling me. Just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers, concerns and encouragement I have recieved from everyone. Smitty research on the lake has been outstanding to read, since I have never fish at lake russell or hartwell. Astro has been checking on me like an "old mother hen" but I must say it does make me feel good that someone would take the time to do that..Thanks my friend. Well everyone time for the get some rest and take these horrible meds.. Will check back in a few hours since my schedule is so full of time lol..Take care everyone..Rick

They are all heart patients like us. Good thing about today is they can keep us patched up and medicated for a long time. I hope you and Astro make it to Russell. I have seen the pics and read your nightstalkin reports. Yall know a trick or two. I just hope we all leave a few slabs for Carpie, GaBowman and Beagler to catch next spring.
I forget what info I posted but I'll send you some more. I hope to have the pacemaker in next week so I'll be on here more and more. I'm almost useless as far as being a productive person. I either sit here or in my boat. And try to do a little honey doo in between!

Glad to hear you men are doing well/better. After all if you don't show up for the Clash there won't be any reason for the rest of the "Peachies" to even show up. I guess the entire Ga. team could make it easy on themselves and you two by just admittin' defeat now. We really won't hold it against the "Peachies" for seein' the error of thier ways. Carl P.S. just P.M. Rango and get his mailing address so you can go ahead and send the trophy to him. It will look good in the Trophy case either with or without "Peachie Tears" runnin' off it.
