Default Setting up a boat for use in electric only lakes

Can anybody tell me what it takes generally to setup a boat for operation in a trolling motor only lake? I have Sandy Creek within 15 minutes of my house and my understanding it has a decent amount of fishing in it, but it is electric only.

Since it's so close, I am thinking setting up for trolling motor only would be worth it to me.

Can anyone advise how to setup effectively for trolling motor only? I have a Riverhawk B-52, which is basically a 15' 8" long by 52 inch wide jon boat, but has a modified V-type hull.

    Thanks,

    Dave

Soem of them folks that set up for electric only have there whole bottom of there boats loaded with battery's. They also have several 3 or 4 trolling motors. You can get some good information from www.woodystaxidermy.com

about setting up your boat. They'll also show you some Pics. take a look at the fishing forum.

Dang, loaded with batteries, eh? I was wanting maybe one or two batteries tops. 3 or 4 trolling motors, I wonder what that gives ya in top speed. All I want to do is make sure I have enough oomph to get around on Sandy Creek without running out of battery juice and taking forever. I was hoping two batteries and maybe a front and rear setup would do that for me.
