Im looking forward to what you guys call night stalking. Can someone give me any info on the green submersimal lights? How far do you put them under water, how many you should use? Thanks for any info.
I have two of them, also a 60 watt bug blub in a reflector that I plug into a converter, and a floating light. The two submersable green ones.. I hung one at 12 feet and the other at around 6 feet last night. .....Still did not catch anything except a catfish around 8:30. Stayed until midnite![]()

I put mine at just under the surface a foot or so. I've tried putting them deeper, but don't feel like I catch as many fish.

Last night I broke a q beam on the anchor setting up.. I had another so I just used 1 q- beam about 3' down and an overhead light. I culled 29 keepers. I left the house at 8:30pm and came in the front door this morning at 4am. I only fished about 3 hours the rest of the time I watched the sonar looking for new stuff to fish. My green lights have not seen water in months.

Harding? Maybe free again tomorrow evening! You and Reelcrappie up for a stalk?
Now just exactly what is a Q-beam and where do you find them vs. the green ones?

i use qbeams and drop em just under the surface a foot or so. i dont like to go deeper cause sometimes fish will wrap around em if you go too deep with em

Q-beams (Starfire II's). Never tried any other light since these work so good. I put 'em just underneath the surface.
