    Default Tieing Knots

I may be the only one that this is happening to . But for the last couple of yrs my hands and fingers have been getting arthritis in them. I guess it don't help from spending 35 yrs cutting meat. Plus of course age.

Trying to tye aa JIg on or a hook has become a rather hard jobs a times. Especially sometimes at night when the old eyes don't want to do there job as well. I have spent about 10 minutes during the day trying to retie and at night I have sometime given up and grabbed another rod.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and what kind of easy fast knots you all are tieing. Just the hands don't want to do there job the way they should. Kind of a dumb question I was just wondering if anyone has any tricks.

    Thanks
    Beagler

Beagler, my eyes and hands probably aint any better than yours. Every since I've learned the polamar knot that's about all I'll use anymore. Any knot at night is still a pain but the polamar is probably the easiest for me, and I think it's about the strongest one you can tie too.

Thanks I'll have to Learn how to tie it. It's tough getting older isn't it. Of course that's a fact of life.

Guys my eyes ain't worth a hoot without my bifocals, my old hands can't hardly hold a hook but after seeing Crip47 fishing and tying lines I will never ever complain. He is a true Champion in my book. Get with him and he can show you how. He makes it so simple even a Caveman could do it:D

I haven't ever used one, but there are knot tying tools on the market that are supposed to make it easier.

    Bass Pro Shops has several:

    Cabellas does, too:
