Thread: Lanier last night

The moon was bright skies were clear. started out sloooowwww. the shad showed up pretty quick but no bites until bout 11:30. from then until 1:00 the bite was moderate but mostly south carolina size dinks. slowed down after 1:00 and I left at about 3:00. surprized not many boats were out after dark.

What bridge were you at?

That is a good catch for a full moon clear night. We did about the same except we lasted until sunrise. the shad were there when I cut on the light. We were catching them really steady til 1am then the switch shut off. They stopped biting. we packed up at 3 and fished docklights, picking up a few at each dock.
