Thread: Practicing for Slabfest

I finally got the aereator pump I broke off fixed in the yatch. Last minute decision to to Blackshear about 6 o'clock last nite. I should have stayed home Got there and couldn't find my electric cord for my lights. Then motor decided it wanted to go through the hard start deal. After about an hour, finally got on the water. Went under Smoak bridge and didn't see anything. Went out to the main lake and fished docks back in to the bridge. ZIP ZERO NADA...... got back to the bridge and my wife caught a set of eyeballs :D Okay, I have my practice session in I am ready to defend my title....last place I kinda like the prize for last place......if I can just figure out how to catch fish with Crappieday's jigs I would be okay....then again I might not win anymore of them:D Water temp was 82 degrees when we got there and had only dropped to 73 when we left. At least we ran through some rain coming back home.....Wish we could get more we need it.

Sounds like my typical fishing experiences!

All trips can't be the best but you were fishing and that beats sitting home watching TV.. See you this week..

got a new refrigator and ac. in the tytanic . got a radio on the pontoon . . ready to go . wating for wed. :D . haven`t had time to do any pre fishing . guess i will do that thursday and friday .
