Hello all, first i would like to say thanks to everyone that has sent us fishing equipment over here. I have everyones name and address and i will send something to you all showing our thanks for your support.
Here is the first Iraq fishing report: Fished in "no name" lake was expecting to catch some Carp with corn. 2 of us was using corn and one was using a Roadrunner. The one that was using the roadrunner caught the first 2 fish, i think they are called ASP. So we all switched to Roadrunners. Here is a couple of pics. More coming soon.

Derek, Glad to see you are able to have some rest time. Wish you guys a speedy return. Please be careful, our community just learned that we lost a member over there last week. He paid the ultimate price for our Great Country. I am saddened by this news but I am also proud of him and his family for their patriotism and dedication. Thanks to all of you.

I'll bet you could catch fish if there wasn't any water. lol. We cant wait till you get back.....Keith
Way to go DI. I knew that if there was any water in Iraq you would be the one to find the fish. By the size of the fish I bet that you are not use to catching something that small. DI, please be careful over there. We sure o miss you here in the great state of Georgia. Our prayers are with you and your comrades. May GOD bless all of you brave young men.
Good to see you guys are getting in on some fishing action. Way to go! Thanks for the pictures. Thanks for what you are all doing over there. Come home soon and get here safely!
Teach them Iraqi how to fish, maybe that will get them headed in a different direction. Take care and come home in one piece. You all are in my prayers every day.
Man it sure is good to see you. Don't eat none of those fish, we'll cook you up some nice crappie filets when you get home. Keep your head down and be careful. Tell everyone you are all in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything you guys need let us know and we'll do our best to get it to you.
Thank you for your service.
Birddog,
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
