Wekcome, brotherhood. I can't help you on clarks hill but I'm sure some of the members that fish there will give you some advice.

My 2 cents
I fish the upper end of Clarks Hill and all of Russell. Before this year, I just tied up under bridges and sometimes did OK but usually not too great. Then I discovered crappie.com a couple months ago and completely changed how I approached night fishing. I've had much success fishing the edge of creek channels rather than tying up. I'm not sure where Indian Cove is, but it might be worthwhile to get there early enough to scout it out with your depthfinder before dark. Should you find schools of bait with arches below in 25-35 ft of water in the channel or over a bend, I'd anchor down and fish right there!
Good luck!
William
