hello everyone , looking for advise on where to find shell cracker on julliet and blackshear , i've enjoyed reading all the post. me and girlfrind live to fish she is a true partner.looking foward to all the good advise and clean conversations.
We are having a slabfest at blackshear on May the 12th. Why don't you and your girlfriend come on over. There will be some local people there and I'm sure they can help you out on where to look for crappie and bream and shell crackers. We will have a tournament Sat. A.M. so if you want you can join in. Fish fry after the tournament, good eating! You all come on I guarantee you'll have a good time and meet some really nice people.
What cha want to know? Send me a PM with questiona and I'll point you in the right direction. I fish Juliette exclusivally for 'crackers and big bull 'gills during the late spring/summer months.
Heading to Juliette in the morning.
My grandpap told me growing up..."Son, God doesn't deduct time from your life, spent fishing"
Dutch , sent you a PM .
Reelcrappie, thanks for the invitation, we'll plan on being there . would you give me the exact location ?
Dutch could you pm me as well on Juliette about the shellcrackers and bluegills. Town Creek Reservoir on Upper River Road in Jones County has some nice ones as well. The water in it is very similar to Juliette in that it is gin clear. Seen 2 strings completely full of 1 1/2 pound shellcrackers come out of there.

We will hold it at Veterans Memorial park at the campgrounds. I'm not sure what time the tournament will start. Smitty, post the details if you can.Originally Posted by wheretheyat
