    Default New boat question

My wife ended up going out on the lake with me Saturday since I couldn't find any takers. She was only on the water with me for 10 minuits before she informed me that she wouldn't be back out with me till I bought a new boat. She says mine has had it. I've been wanting a new one for a while but have been making due with mine. Now not only do I have permision, but I've been ordered to buy a replacement. :D :D I would really love a Stratos 219v, but would be happy with something simular. Do any of you know what makes and models would be simular to help me out with my search? I'm really getting excited now!!
To heck with work, lets go fishing.

Hey Score, man you have a awesome wife I have been pondering this question myself. This is what i have came up with. Of course the Stratos 219 is the best crappie boat but they no longer make them. The closest boat to the 219 is the Ranger 618 or 619 they are setup almost exactly the same. Triton has come out with a crappie boat that looks great and i know a couple of guys with them and they love it. I think my next new boat my be a Ranger 619 unless Stratos comes out with the 219 again. Expect to pay around 32,000 for any new boat of that type and that on the very low end. I have set aside around 40,000 for my next boat but thats about 5yrs away. Good luck!

I don't think a Ranger or Triton would be good for ya. All the fish ya'll catch you need a barge :D :D That VS619 is a sweet boat. You could go ahead and get it and rig it all out and get the livewell smelly then when DI gets back you could give it to him already broke in.

Buy a Ranger, you can check and you will find the resale value is better than any others and the ride is smooth, or course I am predjust cause I`ve had one for 20 years with a yamah pro v 150 and have not had any trouble with it(knock on wood) and I`ve fished it hard lots of bass tourneys.Just my 2 cents..DI keep safe any time frame on when you will be back home?
