Fished Sat. til the weather ran us off the lake. Real slow only caught a few and one slab, 10 to 15 ft suspended. Weather has been so screwed up that they don't know whether they are coming or going. Fished beech and seveeral places. Real slow. Water temp was about 63 degrees. Good luck.

Hello Big Dave. My best ffriend and I just got back from West Point today after 2 days of hard fishing. We have fished this lake for around 25yrs and today was one of the worst days that I have had on the lake. The first thing that we noticed when we put out at the ramp was how high the water level was. It is about as high as I have ever seen it. It is very close to being full pool. We only cought 2 crappie and one of those was about 2lbs. I would venture to say if the spawn is not over it sure is close to being so. I wished I had a better report for you. You need to get a hold to Bobby Wilson and I know he will be glad to help you out. He is a professional guide and if you don't hire him I believe that he will still be glad to help out. Call him at (770)-328-2106. His home is 770-253-7981. I don't get a penny for referring people to him. The reason I do this is because he is a friend. GOD Bless and good luck.
