Looks like a great day on the water. Appreciate you sharing the video. Im traveling from Louisiana for a week stay at a home on Lake Sinclair next week. First trip to this area and plan to do some fishing. Is crappie fishing on Sinclair as good as Oconee ? and would you recommend spider rigging there too ? Thanks for any information you can share.

I have never fished Lake Sinclair but there are others on this site who can give you more information than I can. I believe the average size is bigger on Oconee but again I am not speaking from experience. You can't go wrong spider rigging, long lining or jigging over brush piles. I hope others will chime in. Good luck.

Sinclair is good for numbers, but not size...while one can catch some nice fish, nothing like Oconee size slabs. This time of the year will be tough due to all the water lice and other pleasure boaters on the water. Try around Optimus Island and you can catch some fish...fyi catfish are on fire right now at Sinclair.
