They are still in the treetops but lake is overfull and alot of debree floating down the river so be careful running
Has anyone been crappie fishing West point recently I haven't been in couple weeks and was thinking bout taking grandad in morning was looking for any info or suggestions so maybe I can put him on a few fish

Try some of the coves off the main lake above pump stations there shouldnt be any current there. Plenty of blowdowns there. Also yellowjacket in the coves around the blowdowns. A cork and jig will work but a minnow below a cork about 4ft will normally do the trick

Yea that limits your options. Stroud and veasy creeks both have trees too. Also try 109 bridge at dewberry somtimes they hang around the columns 8-10 ft down
Ok thanks again I'll give some updates if we have any luck I'm in process of building some spider rigs to try it out just haven't finished everything yet

Haven't had chance to make new post we caught few this weekend 15-20 fow fishing brush piles dropping down with jigs bout 10-12ft then went Monday evening trash and debris was clear in Maple creek the one big log floating I found it unfortunately waiting on insurance to see if their gone replace lower unit or if I'm gone have to come out of pocket so I'm outta commission for at least week if not longer I have had 6 boats been on westpoint my whole life and other lakes and rivers with rock guess just my bad luck struck again
