I've been the past 3 days. I did catch a couple. I have watched the water temps go from the low 50s to 67 degrees the past week. Today was the first I've found temps above 61. yesterday I was catching in 10' water near pockets of creeks. This afternoon they were all the way up into 1 foot water. Cast after cast. fish after fish. most were black. today was the first day I've caught black(from spawn) crappie this year. My shoulders are tired... I wonder why? I only caught a few!

    Default no bigguns but....

hit YJ on WP, got on water about 11:00 AM, saw a ton of boats heading away from lake on way in (guess night bite might be on??) , boys and I caught 50+, missed a bunch more, but mostly throw backs , 18 fillet size, nothing over 3/4 lbs., fished from mouth of Beech back up YJ 1/2 back to Hwy 27 bridge, fish were 5-10' deep in 12-17', then last hour & 1/2 fished above bridge where timber starts , fish were 2-3' in 5', more on jigs than minnows all day, no real hot color they hit everything, no temp gauge to tell ya what it was but the better fish were about to bust open, and some of the hardest pulling fish I've caught in a while, they had 2 lbs attitudes.....thinking of maple and weedwacker :D or whatever that creek is next week or so
