Default Going to Oconee or Sinclair, Thur & Fri.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I should start:
    Oconee:

    Redlands
    Sugar Creek
    Long Shoals
    Granite Shoals

    Sinclair:

    Power Plant

I am trapping minnows in my minnow pond now; should I use the small ones or the 2 to 3 inches?

Looks like it is going to be windy; but I need to burn this old gas out of the boat before it causes me more trouble.

    See ya.

Some people yesterday to Sinclar. They caught their limit, but said the fish were small. They were trolling and fish from Crooky Creek to Sandy Run.They said johndeere green and popscile were good colors. A friend and I are going tomorrow, propably to jig tree tops. He has caught his limit Monday and Tuesday.

I'll be at Oconee on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I'll be hitting the "Burn Barrel", Sugar Creek, Port Armor, Satellite Cove, and a host of other places. Gonna try to get down to Lick Creek for a change. I'll keep an eye out for you. I'll be in a Tracker ProCrappie with a 40 hp Merc. You should be able to tell who I am because I will be the one aimlessly driving around as if I am lost with a chart of the lake in my hands and steering with my knees.

All you guys who are going to Oconee give us some feeback. Most of the information I have been getting is skimpy. They should be getting more active soon. I have been fishing Sinclair with good success in Jan & Feb but would like to switch to Oconee as soon as I get any indications they are beginning to bite.

    Default Lake Oconee on Thursday

The wind is blowing like crazy,,,,,,, and they are predicting 25 mph winds.
    It is supposed to calm down tomorrow; Friday;

I think I will put in at JR's and fish Lick Creek; since this isi where I caught my biggest crappie on this lake.

Didn't have any luck catching minnows in my pool; only caught bluegill's.

Fished hard all day Friday. I had two bites and missed them both. Fished up by Swords in the morning and near Granite Shoals in the afternoon. Some guys told me they were biting good at night.
On Saturday I fished the back of Sugar Creek. Caught four nice ones. Thought they were going to get turned on, but then the wind picked up and the bite stopped for me. Further up the lake by Swords the bite actually turned on when the wind picked up. Just my luck they were biting by Swords the day after I fished the spot. Hope to get back up that way in a couple weeks to try again.

We fished up the Apalachee arm of the lake yesterday. Like Jim said, the bite was slow during the morning. Started to pick up a few after lunch. Talked to a guy who said his friend fished the Indian Mounds Friday and never caught a fish.
