Nice trip. Thanks for the report and photos.
Made annual trip to Lake Talquin with Daughter and C. Little. The weather was perfect except for the warm temps in the afternoon. Fish were scattered but the bigger fish were in the flats across from Harvey Mill. We averaged about 25-30 keepers each day and lots of 10 inch throwbacks. On this trip, we stayed at Ingram's Marina for the first time in many years. The bite will get better as the water temps cools. We also found fish in the back of coves in 13 foot of water. On the last day, had cook-out at lunch before heading home.........wonderful time with daughter who loves to fish. Should be plenty of fish caught next weekend at the Crappie.com event. Our best bait was Tex's Popsickle
