Default Late Summer Slabs on the Hill

First crappie trip in some time as I have not been willing to face the heat and humidity of late. My son came into town and had the fishin' itch, so we headed up to the Dordon Creek area early Saturday morning and hit a couple of brush piles in 25 ft with minnows. Ended the morning with 30 keepers, including a couple that were just over 1.5# each. Stayed overcast all morning, which I am sure helped a lot. Decent day for late summer. Looking forward to some fresh crappie filets dropped in some hot grease tonight.

Thanks for the report and pics. It's always nice seeing good reports about the hill. Congrats on your trip and you getting to share it with your son.
