Thread: tournament ?

has or does any body do a mid week tournament ether on tuesday or thursday

We have 2 on Tobo in March that are night tournys from 7 pm till 11 pm . The first one is Thursday the 11th and the other is Tuesday the 30th. $10 per boat winner take all

ok now the ?'s are they crappie tournys ? and from where do you all leave out of and sign up and all that good stuff? how many people show up? is this the only month or is it a monthly thing. I have never fished or even been to this lake so not sure about navigating at night right off. would love to try it but need to learn the water first . what is the lake like is it flooded timber, rocky or what! is their stuff under water I need to know about do you have to fish partners if so I would be up for being a partner with some body this first time or two. thanks for any info

To start yes they are crappie tournys. We meet and weigh in at Claystone Park boat ramp. We have about 2 or so a month ( see our sticky at top of page Tobo tourny first quater schedule) we will hold them all year some daytime some night. We have been bringing in around 5-10 boats at each one.Just show up and we will help you get aound the lake these are a great bunch of guys that fish with us and will help you any way they can. As far as partners go that is up to you if you would like to fish with someone the first time out just start a post and ask for a partner Iam sure someone would be more than happy to have you ride with them and show you around the lake. Thanks for the info I'm glad that sticky wasn't a snake because I'd been bit!! I get on here about three or four times a day and i have never noticed it before you said it. what has won it or have yal been able to fish with all this nice weather we have had this winter. have not seen a weather report this week but if it aint going to be bad might try to swing down that way this week and test the waters.

Yes we have fished this year. We have had 3 this year we did skip one (superbowl sunday). I will not lie to you so far this year it has been rough on this lake no one is doing much. The winning weight at the last one was only 3.2 lbs . Our next one will be sunday March 7th. Hope you can make it you will enjoy meeting all the guys that fish with us.

I will definatly be meeting all soon but it will probably be the end of the month I work on sat sun and mon so it will be a tues or thurs event i am trying to find time to come learn the waters one day a littel bit be for a tourny at night is the lake flooded timber or is it muddy bottom or rocky just curios and cant find much about it on the net

as tempting as that sounds i gota pass got to keep the bosses happy but its on like donky kong for the weekday tourneys
