Something other States are doing.
Wish Ga. DNR would team up with UGA for a study like this.
Radio Transmitter Tagging Of Crappie
John Woods has teamed up with Professor of Biology Glenn Parsons and one of his Grad. students Caleb. In a cooperative project between Ole Miss/Miss State and the Miss. Dept of Wildlife on Sardis Lake. The crappie were caught and tagged 12-18-09. With a surgically implanted radio transmitter. Tracking started 1-18-2010. These crappie will be tracked through the winter, the spawn and into the summer. Any one interested in the tagging and tracking results. Email me at hopejohn@bellsouth.net Thanks John Woods
