Cya in March smitty, Im so ready and excited.
how bout sinclair? lots of people like to fish there. and would probly be a good turn out. its pretty much the center lake of Ga.
Sinclair does have a certain appeal for the night stalker in me...:D
Looks like some room for one during the summer...

I spoke with Joe the other night and he talked me into going to West Point. Just trying to decide on a place to stay. I guess to keep costs down I will pitch a tent at the host campground. Hope it doesn't get too cold, but I have a heater I can put in the tent.
Thats great news Jim, we'll see ya there. I can hardly wait and an electric blanket does a wonderful job on those cold nights also. I,m gonna bring plenty of fire wood too :D
I cant wait to load the boat with all those fat winter slabs. I,m fixing to look and see if theres hopefully a site with a lot of sun exposure, probably facing towards the west...
Has anyone camped at Shaeffer Heard before that can offer some tips for us, such as best sites, near bath house's, fish cleaning station, ect ?
Made my reservation for West Point in Feb. Will be staying at campsite #41. I will arrive on Wed., the 24th and leave the following Sunday.
