Thread: Crescent Lake FL

A friend was at Crescent on Monday and said there was dead fish on the water at the public ramp. When talking to other fishermen he was told there were dead crappie floating out on the lake. Has anyone heard of a fish kill down there?

is there a size limit on the lake like Talquen ? if so may have ben catching small one and throwing them back.

some catch fish and throw back anyway .have saw fish dumped at landing as they didn`t want to clean them .

They were more than likely TILAPIA.
They inhabit most lakes in Florida and were killed by the cold water temperatures.
