Thread: Minn Kota Auto pilot

MY T Motor will not guide to the right with the switch. It will guide to the right when in A/P Mode. Any of you have a sure solution?

Call customer service and see if they can help. The repair shop I use is in Lakeland FL. They list all repair shops on their website.

I'm not sure if I know what switch you are talking about. Is it on the foot controll?

Yes, and I also have a push button switch box with a reostat for speed control. Neither of the units will turn it to the right. I bought this sw box about 5 years ago from another fisherman while fishing on Clark Hill. I really love it compared to the foot control switch.

If it does it with the foot pedal and the hand control, I would think it may have something to do with the circuit board. How old is the motor?.....And I love my hand control box too...Wouldn't fish with out it!!!

Just got my 55 auto pilot going today. It would not turn to the right UNLESS I was in auto pilot mode. I was told I had a bad circuit board and stupid me ordered 1 and 96.00 later I still had the same problem. I got the number for Gilbert Bentley 1-770-460-2070. He is an authorized Minn Kota service center in Fayetteville GA. Guess what, it was the curly stretch power cable that runs from the base up to the top where the Auto pilot engage button is.
