Thread: Talquin Report 12 Jan 10

Water temps was 40 this morning and the fish were kinda slow in all the areas I fished. Will head the other way this morning and see what's happing toward the dam. The channel looks full of fish and they are deep.....sure hate to push with minnows but who knows.....The cold weather is COLD. The temps was 25 at the camper and will be a while before the water warms.

Robert, I doubt I will make it down until sometime Saturday. Calling for a 70% chance of rain on Saturday, so I may just get there sometime Saturday and have everything ready to fish first thing Sunday morning and stay till Monday or Tuesday.

No problem, Im not sure if I will go Sat or wait and go back on Sunday. I know for sure Im going Friday, but Im going to watch the radar and see about Sat. If its going to get bad I will prob do some studying Sat and go back up there on Sunday. Either way I plan to fish there a couple days this weekend. Be careful driving down

The forecast has changed from 70% to 90% chance of rain and pretty windy for Saturday...Nicer on Sunday but still windy...Maybe all this wind and rain will be out of there for the CrappieUSA tournament next weekend:D
