Arrived at camper 1400 hrs. sat. Arrived back in Thomasville 1400 hrs. sun.... When you find the dish washing detergent frozen in the window sill, 3 cans of diet coke exploded in the fridge and it takes 3 hrs. to heat camper to 65 degrees this is not a good start. Spotted an oil leak putting in the boat and should of come home then but no I had to spend the nite. 0300 hrs needed to change gas tanks. Will try to get oil problem fixed tomorrow, mean time I plan on sitting on my butt here at the house letting this heater keep me at a cozy 78 degrees......
Ok... So how was the fishing.![]()

Give a man to fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll be in your fishing hole everytime you go.
wow rough day and night Rawhide.Where are you fishing?or not fishing?
Wow thats stinks, intellicast is showing some good weather reports for the week to come. So with that said its looking like it will be some nice days/nights at Talquin this next weekend.
Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.

Sent Rawhide to find fish for next week and he went home because of the cold. He's a bad ICE.

All kidding aside, there were two couples and a sister that drove their motor homes into LTL. Arrived in the morning, parked campers, lauched their boats and went fishing. Fished until dark and then proceded to clean fish. They caught 50 plus and kept 17 the first day and 16 the next. You should have seen them, they had on their heavy clothing and the mornings that they started, it was in the low 30's to high 20's, wind was blowing 10-15. They fished out of a narrow stick steering boat. One lady told me that when they went salt water fishing, they went out at day break and returned at dark. True diehard fisher people.
Fish are there, but hard to find. Hopefully this weekend they will turn on. I am planning on fishing the slabfest at Lake Monroe saturday.
Hope your motor repair is minor. See you on the 29th.
