    Default powerdrive help please

    bought brand new pd today and didnt think it was a good idea to put it on in the rain. i hooked it up to my battery temporaraly with some gator clamps and the turning motor works fine but the prop motor has a mind of its own it will work somtimes on continuos after it makes a click in the unit housing and want do anything own momentary no matter how haaarrrddd i push the button. i just couldnt resist looking at all the whistles and bells ,am i doing something wrong do i have a short or will someone please tell me where the magic button is im supposed to leave for talquin monday and this is not the way i wanted my trip to start please help DESPORATE almost shot it and thought about tying it to the anchor rope

    Check you connection and if it don't work. Return it and get a new one. Good luck.

    a weak battery will cause them to do odd things.......like said above also check to make sure connection is tight and if all checks out RETURN IT QUICKLY so you can get down to Talquin equipped to get after them crappies

    Kind of sounds like it the problem might be in the foot peddle control. I've never had any problem with mine but I've read some have. If thats it it would be a easy swap. But the weak battery could also be causing it.

    I bought one and i had the same problem. Mine was 12 or 24 volt, I dint have my batteries run in constective order so it would not work properly. i hope this helps

    Default Problem Solved

    Went Back And Swaped The Motor At Sports Center In Perry ,they Didnt Have The Pd40 So They Gave Me The Pd45 For Same Price . Cant Argue With That ,took It Home And Hooked To Battery And It Worked Perfect Must Have Been A Bad Switch Or Somthing But Anyway Thanks Guys

    I know that you could get it going, so you can catch a lots of, fish. Save some, down there. I hope to go down, that way, in a few weeks.
