Those who want one need to PM me with their email address. I will send the letter to you when I finish it next week. In the letter I will be asking the DNR to study the issue and determine if a 10" size limit is feasible on certain bodies of water. I will encourage them to visit slabfest.org to see how the crappie anglers are willing to do their part to create better fish habitat to improve the fisheries. I will also ask them to hold public meetings throughout the State to hear all opinions on this matter.
Just another idea. Maybe it is a good idea for the DNR Board members to be invited to all future slabfest's. I will leave that up to those organizing the events, but just a thought.
Good idea, believe me when i say that you are not alone in this. I am working dilligently and have been, Smitty is also![]()
Thanks again Jim
I was thinking about it and an envite to a Tobo Event would do wonders for this Campaign.
To make it even more than fair, I will encourage any member whom opposes this to volunteer and tour the said person on this event, showing them an opposing fish catch on this water and weighing in their 10 crappie at tournaments end.
Opposition now has the chance to prove that nothing needs to be done and simply not responding to this post speaks volumes as to their true intentions in this matter. Simply Conflict
I will try hard not to laugh as they struggle to explain the reason for the small fish or falling short of the limit at weigh-in.
There it is fellas, get you some of that.
Put up, shut up or get out of the way!
Get'em Joe. My pm is sent.
Sounds good to me Joe . Consider it a done deal we will get together on the date.
