smitty got it, dark colors, if they cant see, letem smell it, and slow slow slow. also slice the tail on the minnows so it gets more blood scent in the water.
Fish Shallower?
Dark colors. Start with Brown or Blk/Org.
i think the darker the water the darker the jig
The fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad
Another question I have about muddy water is, it can't be good for the motor can it? All that discolor is caused by suspended solids which is nothing but grit that has not settled out. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like running my motor in water like that, what do you guys think?
"Shep"
it is bad for the impeller on the water pump but cant really help it i dont think. if my boat is going to sit for a bit before i take it out again, i usaully run it on muffs in the driveway to flush it out, then bump it a few times with water off to get the water out if its freezing temps.
