You Guys Are Doing The Right Thing By Asking For A Limit On Crappie! Here In Nc About 2005, People Were Not So Hip To The Idea Of A 10in, 20fish Limit! Now Where We Fish At Jordan Lake Nc, We Have More Consistent Large Limits Of Fish.what I Mean By That Is, We Use To Catch All The Fish We Wanted But Most Were In The 6-10 In Size.now There Are More Like 10-12in Sizes And We Also Have Noticed Larger Crappie Being Caught Probably Because Of The 20 Per Person Per Day Limit.no One Around Here Really Wanted These Regulations Back Then, But What A Fishery We Have Now.just Take A Look At Some Of The Pictures On The Nc Site Concerning Jordan Lake Nc. Good Luck With Your Recommendations!WE also hardly ever heard of 2lbers being caught before the change, but now, every trip you hear of fish pushing 2-2 1/2lbs.
GET IN, SIT DOWN, HOLD ON, AND BE VEWY VEWY QUITE!!!!!

I will be in San Antonio, TX thru next Thursday. I will have a laptop with me and if I have time I will make adjustments to the letter. Hopefully by the end of next week I will have the completed version ready for anyone who wants to use it.

Thanks Big Crappie 2. You guys really do have superior fishing compared to Georgia and we cant sit idle and expect our waters to get any better.
Do you know of any procedures that helped in getting the the laws changed on NC waterways that could assist us in doin the same?
Any help is appreciated as we are just beginning this quest...

I think it would be great for you guys in the state of Ga. We have a 10" in Mississippi with some of our lakes being 12" and it has helped the fishery's out tramendously. Why keep fish under 10" anyway, they are small and usually so thin. To me keeping fish that small is not sportsman like via state regulation or not
Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.

All of you guys from out of state are enjoying the benefits of the size limits, and it makes me mad and embarassed that GA is always last to do anything. Again, are there any specific avenues of travel that could assist us in our quest to git-er-done

Ok guys I have the letter finished, but I am stuck here in the San Antonio airport and don't have all the email addresses with me of those who requested a copy. I anticipate getting the letter out Saturday.
I also want to say I appreciate all the support I received. I took this on due to what I thought the majority wanted.
